to make or declare sacred set apart or dedicate to the service of a deity:
One of the first things that I do every morning is to consecrate the new day to the Lord. This simple prayer is my way of expressing my deep love for the Lord of all creation. In it, I acknowledge my need of all that He has, that everything I have, everything I do, and everything I am comes from Him. Through it, I somehow elevate even the most mundane to His glory.
Morning Prayer of Consecration
✝ Good morning, Lord!
I love You,
I bless You,
I praise You,
I worship You,
I honor You
and I adore You!
I consecrate this day to You, Lord, and call upon the fullness of
Your protection, and
to permeate everything that I do today.
I ask this
to the glory of God the Father ✝,
in the name of God the Son ✝, and
through the power of God the Holy Spirit ✝.
Amen, amen and AMEN! ✝
I share this with you out of humble obedience to the still, small voice of God whispering in my heart. This has been my intimate prayer of love for a while now, and I invite you to make it yours as well. I can see the face of God beaming with joy every time we speak it from our heart.
But seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides.
